Once upon a time in a faraway land, there were four moons that shone brightly in the sky. These moons were very special because they represented the four seasons of the year. The first moon, which was called „Jaro“ (Spring), appeared in the sky during the months of March, April, and May. The second moon, „Léto“ (Summer), shone in the sky during the months of June, July, and August. The third moon, „Podzim“ (Autumn), appeared during September, October, and November. And lastly, the fourth moon, „Zima“ (Winter), appeared during December, January, and February.
The people in the kingdom looked forward to the appearance of each moon because it meant different things to them. Spring brought new life; Summer brought warmth and happiness; Autumn brought bountiful harvests, and Winter brought snow and ice. However, one day, something strange happened. The moons started to lose their shine, and the people began to worry.
The king of the kingdom knew that something needed to be done, but he didn’t know what to do. He consulted the wisest person in his kingdom, an old wizard named Karel. Karel was known for his knowledge of magic and his ability to see into the future.
After careful consideration, Karel had an idea. He suggested that the king send four of his bravest knights on a quest to find the four elements that made up the world: air, water, earth, and fire. Karel believed that by finding these elements, the knights would be able to restore the shine to the moons and save the kingdom.
The king agreed to Karel’s plan and sent four of his bravest knights on the quest. The first knight, Jan, was sent to find air. He traveled to the highest mountains and searched for the purest air he could find. The second knight, Eva, was sent to find water. She searched the deepest oceans and found the clearest water. The third knight, Tomas, was sent to find earth. He searched the lush forests and found the richest soil. And lastly, the fourth knight, Mark, was sent to find fire. He traveled to the hottest deserts and found the hottest flames.
After months of searching, the knights returned to the kingdom with the four elements in hand. Karel then instructed the knights to place each of the elements into a special cauldron and to recite an incantation that he had given them.
As the knights recited the incantation, a bright light shone from the cauldron, and the four moons in the sky began to shine brighter than ever before. The people rejoiced, for they knew that their kingdom was saved.
From that day forward, the people celebrated the Vzestup čtyř měsíců (Rise of the Four Moons) every year, during the month of June. They celebrated the bravery of the knights and the wisdom of Karel the wizard. And most importantly, they celebrated the return of the four seasons to their kingdom.

Je tady pohádka o čtyřech měsících, které ztratily svůj lesk a lidé se báli. Král vyslal čtyři nejstatečnější rytíře, aby se pokusili obnovit svit těchto měsíců. Každý rytíř hledal jeden ze čtyř elementů, tedy vzduch, vodu, zem a oheň. Nakonec se jim podařilo najít všechny elementy a ty následně dali do kotle, do kterého zaklínadlem vtiskli energii elementů, která navrátila svit měsícům. Lidé radostně slavili návrat čtyř ročních období do jejich království a děkovali za odvahu rytířů a moudrost kouzelníka Karla. Pohádka poukazuje na důležitost spolupráce a odvahy, které mohou překonat nebezpečí a zachránit království.
