Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a herd of goats who roamed the hills and valleys in search of food. Among this herd were three little goats who were the kindest and the bravest. They were known as kůzlátka in the Czech language.

The first kůzlátko was the youngest of the three. She had big, curious eyes and a fluffy tail. One day, as she was grazing on the hillside, she spotted a clump of sweet grass on the other side of a deep stream. She decided to go over and have a taste.

„I’m going to the other side of the stream to eat some sweet grass,“ replied the kůzlátko, unaware of the danger lurking in front of her.
„Well, be careful,“ said the wolf. „The stream is deep and treacherous. I wouldn’t want you to get hurt.“
But the wolf’s intentions were far from friendly. He was planning to gobble up the kůzlátko as soon as she stepped into the stream.
But the little kůzlátko was too smart to fall for the wolf’s deceit. She knew that wolves were notorious liars and she didn’t trust him one bit.
„I’m not afraid,“ she said, as she stepped into the stream. „I can swim like a fish and I won’t let you hurt me.“
The wolf was taken aback by the kůzlátko’s boldness. He had never encountered such a brave little goat before. He decided that it would be better to slink away and find easier prey.
The first kůzlátko safely made it to the other side of the stream, where she enjoyed the sweet grass to her heart’s content.
H3: The Second Kůzlátko
The second kůzlátko was the middle sibling. She had a shiny coat of brown fur and a mischievous glint in her eyes. One day, as she was grazing on the hillside, she spotted a patch of fresh berries in a nearby meadow.

„I’m not afraid,“ she said, as she trotted towards the field. „I can outsmart any predator and I won’t let you catch me.“
