Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a beautiful princess, whose name was Adéla. She was known throughout the land for her kind heart and her radiant smile. She lived in a magnificent castle, surrounded by lush gardens and tranquil lakes, and was beloved by all who knew her.
One day, a handsome young scribe came to the castle. His name was Jan and he had been sent by the king to serve as Adéla’s personal secretary. At first, the princess was wary of this stranger, but soon she found herself drawn to his humble manner and his sparkling wit. They began spending time together, chatting and laughing over books and papers, and soon they found that they had fallen deeply in love.
However, their love could not be, for Jan was a mere mortal and Adéla was a princess, destined to marry a prince of noble birth. When the king found out about their affair, he was furious and ordered Jan to be banished from the kingdom. Adéla was heartbroken, but she could not disobey her father’s orders and so she bid farewell to her beloved.
Jan wandered through the land, his heart heavy with sadness and regret. He longed for Adéla’s love, but he knew that he could never be with her. One day, he came across an old woman who was spinning straw into gold. She offered to help Jan win back Adéla’s heart, but in exchange, he would have to give her something of great value.
Jan thought for a moment and then he remembered a beautiful necklace that Adéla had given him as a token of her love. He handed it over to the old woman and she waved her hands over it, transforming it into a magical talisman. Jan gazed at the amulet in wonder, knowing that it held the power to change his fate.
He returned to the castle and presented the talisman to Adéla. She was overjoyed to see him again and they embraced each other, their love stronger than ever before. However, the king was still furious and he ordered Jan to be executed for his disobedience.
Adéla could not bear to lose Jan again and so she turned to the talisman for help. She spoke the incantation that the old woman had taught Jan and suddenly, the castle was engulfed in a shimmering mist. When the mist cleared, the king found himself transformed into a frog, while Jan stood before Adéla as a handsome prince.
The prince explained that the talisman had the power to grant any wish, but that it could only be used once. Adéla knew what she had to do and she made her wish – that she and Prince Jan would live happily ever after.
And so they did. They married in a grand ceremony and ruled the kingdom together, loved and respected by all. The talisman had brought them together and it had given them a chance to overcome the obstacles that had threatened to keep them apart. They knew that they were meant to be together and that nothing could ever separate them.
The End.

Ponaučení z Pohádka princezna a písař
